Seasonal Sniffles Blend

Seasonal Sniffles
Essential Oils combined often seem to have a synergistic effect on each other. Not sure how this combo works - just know for countless testimonies that it does!

I've used this on myself - I put it all over my throat, I put it under my nose and if you use the Vitality Line of oils from Young Living you can put them in a vege capsule and swallow it!
You get 250 in a order - size 00 - you pull them apart and then just drop the oils in and fill the rest with carrier oil like olive oil, grape seed oil, coconut oil or honey works too. Order #3193

Liquid Xanax

Xanax is used to treat anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and anxiety caused by depression.

Xanax has some huge side effects.

This recipe is all natural and smells awesome.

A carrier oil can be any vegetable based oil such as: olive oil, coconut oil, grape seed oil.

I would suggest cutting it in half and getting a roller ball type bottle to put it in so you can just roll it on when you need it. Typically roll-ons are 10ml.

ROOT BEER! Love the smell!

I had someone stop by my booth last week and asked me if I had Root Beer smelling oils!
I asked my team and the photo above is what I got in response (my team is awesome!!!).
I tried it and loved it!
I now leave the Peppermint out - adds a minty smell that I don't think it needs!

My kitchen is a Root Beer Float!

Cough Drops - Homemade!

Three ingredients are all you need to make delicious cough drops!

1 Cup Honey
Thieves & Lemon Essential Oil
(I've heard of substituting Orange for Lemon and also adding Eucalyptus Globulus - I haven't tried these oils yet.)

In a pan bring the cup of honey to 300 degrees using a candy thermometer.  The first time I did this I went right to 300 - they were sticky and not hard - get it over 300 and keep it there for awhile. 300 is hard candy temperature.

Let cool but keep it so that you can still move the honey. Too cool and it will set be for you have it in a mold. Mix in your desired amount of oil - I did about 12 Thieves and about 7 lemon.

I used a hard candy mold the second time I did these - at the time I did these photos I didn't have one.  If you don't have a mold, I used foil paper and made globs as best as I could. The long one in the picture is the left over that I scraped out of the pan - my daughter called it the comet! When they are completely cool you can bend the foil back and remove. If they don't come off easily, no worries, put the whole thing in the freezer for a few minutes, they will pop right off when cold.

I wrapped them in Wax Paper and twisted the ends. DON'T use wax paper instead of foil when they are cooling! The wax on the paper will come off onto the cough drops.

You can click on the photo to make it bigger so you can see them better. The first batch was done at Christmas. They lasted thru January. My second batch lasted thru February. We eat one a day - all three of us  and I feel that it helps with keeping the colds and coughs away.

Cleaning up a pan covered with dried honey:

This is easy, though it looked really bad at first.  I put hot water in it and let it sit overnight - I dropped the spoon in that I was using to plop out the mixture. In the morning the water had melted all the honey and it was all liquid. I drained it and washed - super easy.

Here is the before photo:

 Thanks for looking and
let me know if you make these and if you liked them.

Please always use Young Living Essential Oils - I don't know about other oils, but I do know that Young Living is 100% Pure oil.

Shower Discs

I've tried these two different ways and I think the silicone mold is the way to go.

What you will need:
Mold
Baking soda
cornstarch
water
Essential Oils: Just about any combo will work - I did Peppermint - for sinuses, Thieves - colds, Lemon or a Citrus - wake up call, Lavender - Bedtime
Glass Bowl - a must with oils

Mix 1 c baking soda with 1 T cornstarch and about 1/3c water - add slowly - until it forms a slightly pourable paste - not runny. I found I had to keep it moving - if too runny the baking soda settles on the bottom of the bowl. Fill mold 1/4 full - the picture below is WAY too full - see next photo for mess:

They boil over when a little watery and over full - but still pop out of the mold really easier than using a baking tin and papers (I popped the pieces off the edges and put them in a bag, added oils and sprinkled in the shower.)

Bake at 350 for 20 minute or so. Let cool.  Add your choice of oils - about 7-8 drops total needed.  You can store in a glass jar if all the same oils. I gave them out in sealed sandwich bags.

Here is baking tin and papers: the papers were wet when I took them out of the oven and when they dried I couldn't get the paper off the disc. Had to put the whole thing in the shower and retrieve paper from the drain.

Put these shower discs in the bottom of your shower where the water will hit it gently.  The oils will rise up and fill the shower!  You can also use these in a material bag and put in your dresser drawer with Purification to keep your clothes smelling great!
